Three of the reviews we have received on tripadvisor this year – we would like to thank our guests for their kindness.

We were in the Umai at the begin and the end of our fantastic tour in Kyrgystan in September 2014 and came back after a tour in Tajikistan in June 2015, we felt like coming home. The hotel is very quiet with a beautiful garden. Very helpful and friendly staff, the rooms are very clean, good beds, airco, free wifi, very clean bathroom,. The yurt in the garden creates a convivial athmosphere and we like the outside bar very much to relax with a cold beer or wine after a good filled day out.The food is also very good and varied. We like that place very much!!!!

We stayed in this hotel in May and June 2015 (on entry and exiting Kyrgyzstan). We were really surprised to find such a clean and well taken care of the in Bishkek- Kyrgyzstan. All rooms have (working) airco which is a nice surprise. The people were extremely friendly and helpful and there was no language barrier at all; english, no problem. The location seems also great: not far from Jibek Jolu avenue and crossing this avenue gets you to the Chuy avenue where the State History Museum is (with Manas statue). Highly recommended.

So grateful to have had the fateful experience with Nuraiym and Mike. Aside from the super value, there was a sense of support and comfort being so far from our element as guests visiting bishkek for the first time. we were able to feel the warmth and kindness of the local and indigenous kyrgyz. It would have been difficult and arduous with the language barrier from basic tasks as ordering food, transportation, due to our inability to our illiteracy to communicate in the local language. They helped us through all of these types of challenges and went above and beyond all expectations allowing us to utilize their hotel room to refresh with shower and a hearty meal from a long tiring flight from Tokyo. I found an essence of aloha and ohana half way around the world that has been missing from Hawaii for a long time. I would come to Bishkek again just to grant us with their company and love. I wish nothing but a long prosperous success with their endeavors.
